Haruhi never exactly understood why Tamaki was so insistent on calling her his "daughter", but she did know for sure that Tamaki would murder Kyoya on the spot if he found out. The twins would be the definition of jealous and dramatic. Haruhi's dad, would become a war god specifically to kill Kyoya. Then, Kyoya's dad Haruhi sighed as the group turned away, Kyoya took this opportunity to kiss Haruhi, who kissed back. They parted lips quickly so nobody would see.
Haruhi: I love you too I'll visit every break okay? Kyoya nodded before gently kissing her forehead. Haruhi smiled before reluctantly pulling away from the hug. Haruhi looked at the door and then back at Kyoya. She gave him a quick peck on the lips before getting in line. Haruhi looked behind her to give a small smile to the group sorrowfully waving goodbye to her. She walked onto the plane and put her luggage away before sitting down.
Then someone sat next to her. Haruhi examined the girl closer. She had amber eyes along with light-ish brown hair in a bun. Haruhi held out her hand to Aoi who gleefully excepted. Likes Comments 7. Like In Volume 18 of the manga, it is revealed that Haruhi and Tamaki are the first of the Hosts to have children. Kyoya is the first Host Club member to realize that Haruhi is, in fact, female.
Being the true director of the Host Club, he manages her debt and constantly exploits her desire to get rid of it in order to involve her in the club's crazier antics. Although she first thinks of him as a cold and manipulative person, she later comes to understand that his detached manner is a facade and that, underneath it all, he is a good-hearted person.
This discovery is made when Kyoya helps a woman out of a jam during a trip to a local mall in Ep 17 - Kyoya's Reluctant Day Out! Though he attempts to cover up his good deed by declaring he recognized the woman as a family business associate due to a ring on her finger, Haruhi reasons that he couldn't have possibly seen the ring and, thus, is covering up his better nature.
Throughout the series, the two have many conversations and share a common trait in their level-headedness, becoming close to the point that, in the last episode of the anime series, Haruhi proclaims quite loudly that he is an amazing person to none other than Kyoya's father, Yoshio Ootori. Haruhi is described as a very important part of the twins' lives, as she is the first person to "enter their world" by being able to tell Hikaru and Kaoru apart with genuine reasoning and an understanding of who they are as individuals.
Because of this and other factors, Hikaru develops romantic feelings towards Haruhi, but eventually "loses" her to Tamaki in the manga. Both he and Kaoru regard Haruhi highly, to the point that they describe the world as being full of idiots before her introduction into their life. Their closeness to her is such that they give her a cellphone that includes the others as part of their "Top Five" contacts. Hikaru doesn't realize his feelings for Haruhi until Kaoru helps him understand this.
When Tamaki realizes his feelings for Haruhi, too, Hikaru and Tamaki battle for Haruhi's affection and attention, such as having a contest to see who will give Haruhi a present she wants the most. Like his twin, Kaoru develops romantic feelings for Haruhi since she is the first person to be able to tell Hikaru and himself apart. Haruhi notices and states aloud that Kaoru acts mature and calm when he's not with his more boisterous brother.
An example of this is found in the manga when Kaoru asks Haruhi what they should do about the fact there's only one cookie and both brothers want it. Haruhi says cut the cookie in half and share. Kaoru replies that the cookie can't be half so he'll just give it to Hikaru, since he's more important.
Haruhi is oblivious to the metaphorical nature of Kaoru's question which is when Kaoru determines to help Hikaru realize his feelings for Haruhi and tell her about them. Kaoru takes Haruhi on a date to an amusement park where he confesses his love and kisses her on the cheek. Haruhi is taken aback by the sudden action but before she can speak, Kaoru states that his relationship with his brother is more important than a romantic relationship with her.
Haruhi replies that she loves him as a friend. After that, Kaoru begins helping Hikaru win Haruhi's heart, but they both lose to Tamaki who, ultimately, wins her hand. Takashi, commonly known as Mori, is hinted to have romantic feelings for Haruhi, but it is never explored. Regardless, there are several instances where Mori's possible feelings show.
In the first episode of the anime, when Haruhi finds herself being hugged a bit too tightly by Tamaki, she cries out to Mori for help and he runs to her aid without question. When he lifts her off the ground, he realizes Haruhi is a girl and a slight blush on Mori's face can be seen.
Mori heads into the woods to find Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka and Haruhi tags along. Upon seeing snakes and insects, she becomes spooked which provokes Mori to carry her. This is also the first time he addresses Haruhi by name, which makes Haruhi happy. Bisco Hatori admits in the manga that Mori was a potential love interest, though she reversed herself on many things. Mori is the first one to greet Haruhi and Tamaki when they have their first child. Mitsukuni, commonly known as Honey or Hani, has great fondness for Haruhi and he is quite protective.
He finds Haruhi endearing, which demonstrates his love for all things cute like his stuffed rabbit Usa-chan. He is the first person to reach out to her when she first encounters the Host Club, calling her "Haru-chan" and extending an offer to eat cake with him. He is also the second person after Kyoya who knew all along to realize Haruhi's true sex, which proves him to be as clever as Kyoya.
His relationship with Haruhi is best described as a sibling-like one, as he can often be found helping Haruhi out in various scenarios, especially when it comes to understanding her own or another's feelings. Mei is the first person to notice Haruhi's romantic feelings towards Tamaki. Despite his status as Chairman, Yuzuru can do nothing to help his son reconcile with the stern old woman.
It should be noted that Tamaki's father defied his mother only once, when he broke off his marriage with his mother's choice for his wife to be with Tamaki's mother.
Later, in Volume 9 of the manga, it is revealed that Yuzuru knows where Anne-Sophie is located following her "disappearance," but keeps this to himself to allow Shizue time to reconcile with her grandson. At the conclusion of both the anime and the manga, it is shown that he wishes for his son to marry Haruhi, in opposition to Yoshio Ootori 's desire for her to become Kyoya's bride. Although Tamaki's looks come from his mother, his charming nature is much like his father's.
In his father's presence, however, Tamaki is quite serious, though the same cannot be said of the opposite. In fact, in the manga, Yuzuru is portrayed as someone who teases his son whenever the chance arises. Examples of this in the manga include sending his son "red herrings" in the middle of an investigation and telling tall tales about ninjas.
Anne-Sophie is Tamaki's mother who voluntarily separates herself from her son and her beloved Yuzuru and she resides in France. She originally meets Yuzuru while he's in Paris on a business trip, falling in love with him and bearing him a son. However, when Tamaki is born, she and her son are forbidden by Shizue Suoh to return to Japan with Yuzuru. Instead, she raises Tamaki in France until he is fourteen, at which point Tamaki's grandmother offers Anne-Sophie financial security in return for relinquishing all control and visiting rights over her son to her.
Anne-Sophie accepts this offer because she is ill and fears for her son's future, going into hiding after Tamaki's departure. In the manga, during a 2nd-year school trip to France, Kyoya finds her and discovers that she is living quite healthily and thinking of her son every day. Anne-Sophie suffers with lupus erythematosus [2]. Eventually, mother and son are reunited in Japan and it is shown that the Suoh family establishes a friendly bond with Ryouji "Ranka" Fujioka in the manga.
Shizue is the Suoh matriarch and controls all of the Suoh holdings, including their personal finances; she is also Tamaki's grandmother and Yuzuru's mother. When she is widowed at a rather young age, she forces Yuzuru into an arranged marriage and makes him the Suoh patriarch in name only in order to strengthen the Suoh Family's position in both social and business circles.
Though it is unknown what she was like prior to this time, it seems that succeeding events caused her to become bitter and mean, and one of the only people that Honey hates.
It's no secret that she resents both Anne-Sophie and Tamaki, often calling her grandson a "filthy child" and refusing to acknowledge either him or his mother. He is also forced to reside at the second estate, as Shizue does not want an illegitimate child in the same house as her. However, because of Tamaki's kindness and true desire to befriend and be close to his grandmother, her heart softens and she comes to love and acknowledge the boy. Over time, she also comes to accept Tamaki's mother because of the generous spirit Tamaki has demonstrated despite hardship.
In the manga, it is through Haruhi and her friends' intervention and mediation that Shizue comes to terms with Anne-Sophie and Tamaki to the point that Shizue asks Tamaki to apologize to Anne-Sophie on her behalf, as well as insist that Tamaki see his mother off.
Shizue remarks that she finds Haruhi an interesting girl and she supports Tamaki's decision to marry her. Initially, Tamaki sees Haruhi as a commoner and is the last of the Hosts to realize her true gender, which he only realizes when he accidentally walks in on her while she's changing. Tamaki's feelings develop from casual interest to deep abiding love over the course of the anime in part and in the manga completely.
In the anime, even under the illusion that Haruhi is a boy, he shamelessly flirts with her, his feelings intensifying upon discovering that "he" is a "she. In the manga, he first shows his romantic interest in Haruhi when she's ill and he kisses her on the forehead, just as his father did to him under similar circumstances. For most of both series, however, he thinks of his emotions as "Fatherly Love," in part because he truly is oblivious and in part because he cherishes the Host Club "family" he has created.
At first, Haruhi calls him obnoxious due to his antics, but later realizes that he is genuinely thoughtful and kind to her, as well as towards others. After they overcome countless difficulties which mainly consists of clarifying their dense feelings for each other , the two are shown marrying in an omake and are the first of the Host Club members to have children. As Tamaki's best friend, Kyoya has shared the same class as him since Tamaki entered Ouran Academy's middle school division in the spring of their 3rd year.
