Plus you never get a good chance to listen to the battle themes of the roamers. Sometimes I make music. My Soundcloud. Tbh, roamers are annoying to track down and catch because of all the time and effort to do so, especially if you're going for a specific nature and IVs.
Kikaito plush. Plushies videos. Honestly, I never really cared for Roaming Pokemon too much so wouldn't have a meltdown if they weren't included in Generation VI, but I would welcome them as a post-game challenge. Roaming legendaries are the most difficult to capture, and thus, I feel really achieved after catching them.
I think the concept of roaming legendaries is cool, but I feel like it's becoming a forced tradition. Like, what was up with Mesprit and Cresselia roaming, yet Azelf and Uxie not? Also, I don't get why the Regi's would be running around sinnoh's map like crazy. Cresselia and Moltres were really annoying to catch in Platinum. In HeartGold I met Raikou right after defeating Morty, but you need to be extremely lucky to catch it at full health, so of course I couldn't get it so early Starlight Sprite.
I have mixed feelings about it. Roaming Pokemon are a pain for sure, but they provide a unique challenge to track down. Still I was very happy on Crystal when Suicune my favorite legendary could be battled normally. However, tracking down roamers can be fun, and always rewarding. I think it would be cool to have this in future games: I could also see it implemented in a place like the Safari Zone on a smaller scale as a means of tracking down rare Pokemon in a time limit.
Gym Leader Korrina. Seen 1 Week Ago. It initially irritated me when I couldnt' get Latios had used my Master Ball but now I find it fun - as long as I have a Wobbuffet, as a lot of roamers fly so Dugtrio is useless. The IV glitch - I can't get a good Latios because of it. Yeah that'd be cool. The IV glitch is irritating, but I don't see how they could've fixed it.
Didn't know about the Roar one, suspected it though. That should've been fixed. At least you can catch [email protected].
I've never really bothered to look for roamers, it's not really worth catching unless you're going for filling your Pokedex. Absolutely not. Catching roamers always seemed like such a chore to me. With the others, if I find it, I'll either throw any ball I have and hope for the best or just attack it.
I'm indifferent about it. If it's back, cool for the people who like. Unless the roamers are really cool, I won't bother trying to catch them.
That's most likely what I would do. If I could paralyze them or put them to sleep it wouldn't be as bad. If it is already trapped at the start of a turn, it will use a move instead of attempting to flee. For example, if the player defeats Mesprit and then enters the Hall of Fame, Mesprit will only begin roaming again once the player visits Verity Cavern.
If it becomes trapped either by a trapping move or Ability before it is able to act, it will attempt to flee but fail. It will become stationary in a specific area after the player encounters it 11 times. They appear in the overworld and must be caught up to in order to be encountered. In Generation V, the player can track their locations using the notifications of stormy weather on electric bulletin boards in gates. They can be captured at any point after they are disturbed by the player in Ecruteak City 's Brass Tower.
Coronet , Cresselia will appear after the player helps cure Eldritch 's son's nightmares, and the Legendary birds will appear in Platinum only after the player first talks to Professor Oak in Eterna City. Tornadus B or Thundurus W will make the weather more extreme in Route 7 when entering the route.
Heading towards the second house on the route will cause an old lady to come out and pull the player in. She will then recite the story of either Tornadus B or Thundurus W. Go to the house east of Celestial Tower, and an old woman will come out and invite you inside. Instead, the electronic bulletin boards in the route houses might mention "a very unusual storm" in a particular route.
Since you won't be able to chase Tornadus or Thundurus around because they don't show up on the map, just go into and out of a route house until the route has a huge rainstorm in it.
Then you can go around in the grass to try to encounter Tornadus or Thundurus. All roaming legendaries flee from the battle on their first turn. In addition, you can inflict Sleep on the roaming legendary, and even in its sleep it will run away after the first turn of the battle, and will still be asleep the next time you encounter it.
Therefore, it is pretty easy to get the roaming legendary into an easier-to-catch state.
